A deck you can walk on

Replacing Ray and Kim's deck was fun. The old deck was allowing water to collect against the house and make its way into the home, so the old deck needed to be replaced. Because of the water some of the joists above the garage (and below the kitchen) needed replaced. Adding ledger board above the garage was also a necessity!!

The old deck allowed for a person to walk above the garage door but didn't connect to the front deck, you could only access it thorough a door by the front entry area, so now the decks are connected and added steps to allow for easier access.
